Busy Room 14

We have been very busy over the last couple of weeks.
We went to the aquarium last Friday and while we were there we dissected a squid and we also got to touch different sea creatures such as mussels. This Friday we will be doing our assembly which will be based on sea life. We have only had 2 days to prepare for it, but it will still be top quality! (;

Fishy news from Room 14!!

This week has been extremely busy in Room 14. We have been writing reports on sea creatures, focusing as a whole class on Mussels which included a dissection on Thursday - check out our photos!! We also had a chance to taste a mussel and then write down using our senses what it felt, looked, tasted, smelt and sounded like as we ate them or tried them. We are also working on a class sasa based around swimming to present at assembly this week!!! We had a guest speaker on Monday who talked about the endangered sea lions - we are working on finding out more this week!! We have enjoyed our sea week activities and look forward to our visit to the Aquarium next week.
